  1. Read the recipe in its entirety before starting to cook. It will give you a better sense of time and how to manage the ingredients.
  2. Organize all the spices and ingredients before you start to make the dish instead of finding them last minute.
  3. When planning a meal, try to incorporate a few primary tastes: sweet, salty, sour etc.
  4. Do not overcook vegetables, they get soggy and lose there taste. There is no concept in India for rare and medium meats. Please cook meats and poultry thoroughly.
  5. When adding garlic, always add it after the onions as it cooks faster and does not give a burnt flavor.
